Teachers working to close education gap facing some students created during pandemic

MT. HEALTHY, Ohio (WXIX) – Lecturers at Mt. Wholesome Faculty District welcomed college students again this week and are working to shut the training hole created by nonstandard schooling types in the course of the pandemic.

For some college students, this week was the primary time they’d stepped foot in a college for the reason that begin of the pandemic.

“Simply this morning, I requested my college students who has not been again in class since we first one out,” mentioned Fifth-grade trainer Julie Wakefield. “And there’s, I imagine 4 or 5, that they’ve not been again. That is their first time again in class.”

As Wakefield defined, that may set a pupil’s schooling again.
